Planning a trip to Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam, often called Vizag, combines a working coastal city with beaches and hill viewpoints. It deserves its own city itinerary even if you are also travelling to Araku. Avoid using the same day for a long hill excursion and a full list of city attractions.

The RK Beach area provides a useful starting point for a coastal walk and nearby attractions. Kailasagiri offers a different perspective on the city, while Rushikonda is a separate coastal outing.
