Planning a trip to Hyderabad
Hyderabad deserves a neighbourhood-based itinerary rather than repeated cross-city drives. The old city, fort area and newer districts offer different experiences. Group nearby attractions, allow for traffic and give food and rest their own place in the schedule instead of treating them as gaps between stops.
What to see
Charminar and the surrounding old-city streets form one heritage area. Golconda is a separate fort outing with substantial walking, while museum and palace visits offer indoor and architectural interests. When to visit
November–February is generally more comfortable for walking. Summer sightseeing needs early starts and long indoor breaks.
